Take it from the Fur Pillow, Baby It's Swollen Jaw

USING pillow with a material made from the fur was considered more convenient. However you should be careful if you have children who are toddlers. If not, feathers in pillows can be inhaled by your baby.

This is what happened to a 7 month old baby named Mya Whittington. Her parents took Mya to a local hospital after the onset of swelling seen in the lower jaw of their daughter. Previously, doctors thought it was swollen, as reported by FoxNews.

After review, the doctor just prescribed antibiotics and sent home for a small family. But Mya condition not improved, and it swelling under the jaw becomes like a lump the size of a golf ball and a half. The father, Aaron Whittington, had brought her daughter back to the hospital. And direct physician examination are associated swelling.

After review, the doctors removed a 2 inch long black feathers of the neck Mya experiencing swelling. They suspect feather pillow comes from being inhaled or ingested by Mya. This feather may penetrate the inside of the cheek or throat, which from time to time Mya's body forcing a foreign object out of the body in other ways.

Suffering Mya is apparently not over. After the feathers are removed, now swollen area has a hard knot on the inside. The size is approximately 4 inches and up to now still see a doctor if the part can be detached by itself or not. If not free, then Mya will be in operation. (ind)
